Site Maintenance and Events Support

Due to growth our Tamworth based client is looking for Site Maintenance and Events Support. This role involves general site maintenance, including repairs, painting, and decorating. Responsibilities include installing appliances, waste disposal, and maintaining outdoor areas. The role supports statutory inspections, meeting room setups, and promotes health and safety. Additionally, it involves assisting other sites within the group and traveling to trade shows across the UK and Ireland to set up product displays. Duties include updating showroom displays and supporting the Marketing team in trade show preparations. Flexibility is required, with occasional weekend work and overnight stays.

As a Site Maintenance and Events Support, you will need to have/be:

  • Driving Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Basic electrical wiring knowledge
  • Decorating skills such as filing and painting
  • MEWP licences
  • Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
  • Helpful and personable
  • Maintain professional integrity whilst representing the company
  • PAT testing qualification
  • Experience of Trade Shows

Details:

  • Salary: £29, 000 - £31, 000
  • Working Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend work
  • Location: Tamworth with some travel
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of Site Maintenance and Events Support:

  • Perform repairs across site as required to fixtures and fittings
  • Painting and decorating
  • General maintenance tasks as and when required
  • Install appliances and equipment
  • Assist in the upkeep of yards and landscaped areas
  • Disposal of waste to designated areas
  • Setting up of the meeting rooms
  • Support with statutory inspections
  • Help to promote a positive health and safety environment
  • Provide support to other companies/sites within the group where necessary
  • Travel to various trade shows across the country and Ireland, and set up the product display stands (will involve nights away)
  • Assist in producing display material to keep all showrooms and trade stands up to date
  • Support the Marketing team with preparation on the run up to trade shows
  • Some flexibility will be required - occasional weekend working may be required
